BEFORE WE MAKE THEM LITTLE
A few good
questions.
How much does it cost?
Figurines start at $50 CAD, depending on size and quantity. There’s no online calculator: Adam quotes each order personally by email, and nothing is payable until you pick it up.
What photos should I use?
Choose clear, well-lit photos that show your dog’s face, markings, and body from different angles. You can add up to five photos for each dog, and up to three dogs before your studio opens.
Is this a 3D model or a physical sculpture?
You start with a custom 3D model you can explore online. After the studio publishes your preview, you can download your textured model or request a physical print. Printing is a separate request; starting a model is not a print purchase.
Can I start right away?
Yes. Sign in with Google and add your dogs’ photos straight away. Then email Adam at the address shown after you sign in for access and a quote. Nubu3D is a one-person studio in Vancouver, so models are made and reviewed by hand, not generated instantly. Once your model is ready, you’ll get an alert in your studio Inbox.
How long does printing take, and when do I pay?
Adam confirms the final price with you before printing begins, and you can cancel without charge until printing starts. Confirmed orders usually take roughly 1–2 weeks, with a specific ready estimate before you approve. Failed prints can extend the schedule. Pickup is in downtown Vancouver by appointment; there’s no shipping. You pay at pickup, only after your piece is printed, checked and finished.
Will my dog appear on this page?
Only if you choose to share a published model. Homepage sharing is off by default for each version. Your original photos, name, notes, and reference sheets stay private, and you can turn sharing off again.
